  • 9/99 – Founded Direct Impact, L.L.C., President, strategic consulting and communications for non-profits and selected companies, focused on law enforcement, counter-narcotics, drug prevention, international security and Internet issues.
  • 1998 – 2001 – Professor, Harvard University Extension School, two classes Congressional Oversight and Internet Law. Teaching Excellence Award – 6/2000.
  • 5/95 – 9/99 – Chief of Staff and Chief Counsel, Subcommittee on National Security, International Affairs and Criminal Justice (chaired by now-U.S. House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert); Chief Staffer (1997-1999), Speaker’s Task Force on Drugs. Extensive travel with Speaker Hastert in support of investigative oversight into counter-narcotics, counter-terrorism, Force protection, including: Middle East, South and Central America, Europe.
